SAPPHIRE GARAGE - ONSITE TECHNICIAN TESTING

Sapphire Garage, one of the UKs  largest and leading bodyshops have used BWS LTD as there go to choice for IMI and BS10125 Certification service for personnel for many years now.  

Being a BS10125 workshop (formerly known as PAS 125) means they are a forward thinking bodyshop and have adopted industry wide standards to enable them to carry out work to the highest standards. This standard is recognised by leading insurance companies as the gold standard.

As part of this standard,  technicians need to be tested and assessed every three years on there skills by an independent IMI centre. This is where BWS LTD comes in. We carry out this service onsite ensuring the high standards Sapphire Garage and BS10125 are maintained.

BWS being an approved IMI test centre carry out this service on the customers premises. This onsite testing is preferred  by many body repair centres, not just Sapphire Garage as it enables the technicians to be tested in an environment they are familiar with and  tools/equipment they use everyday. 

It also saves on costs as each technician is not away from the company and can  still be a little productive. 

Testing onsite is not only easier, quicker and less stressful for technicians it also helps in in the technicians passing the course.

BS 4872 MIG/MAG Welding,  and BS 1140 Spot welding testing  are also done onsite and this meets AOM - 009 certification.

We recently carried out  AOM-133 Bonding and riveting testing for three technicians with all technicians passing with flying colours.
