Non rental means you dont pay a monthly rental just for having the bottle. Most of the top gas suppliers charge you a monthly rental on the bottle, anywhere from £15.00-£30.00 per month depending on the size. With non rental you simply pay a deposit for your bottle and you can have it for as long as you like with no extra charge!. Simply return the bottle when your finished for a refund.

The best gas for welding mild steel is Argon Co2. The gas is mainly inert with the addition of Co2 or O2 to help increase heat in the weld pool. This gives lesser spatter and a more stable arc. Argon Cos 5% is normal for thin steel in the UK with 15% or 20% for thicker steels.
