KEY POINTS
A PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator) system provides continuous airflow, which is more efficient than an N95 mask that relies on the user's breathing to filter out particles. The PAPR system also offers better protection in environments with high levels of airborne contaminants.
The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6-12 months or as recommended by the manufacturer, depending on usage and environmental conditions. Regularly cleaning the filter according to the manufacturer's instructions can extend its lifespan.
The Universal Momentum Air PAPR System is designed to work with HEPA filters specifically. Using other types of filters may compromise the system's performance and effectiveness in providing respiratory protection.
The Horizon Helmet is specifically designed for use with the Universal Momentum Air PAPR System but may not be compatible with other PAPR systems due to differences in design and integration features.
